Cristiano Ronaldo opens up about his future and reveals what he will miss when he retires from professional football

At 39, Ronaldo is one of the greatest footballers the world has ever seen, with the Portuguese superstar scoring 901 goals in his career.

The forward has played for Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus and has also scored 132 goals in 214 appearances for Portugal.

Ronaldo, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner, currently plays for Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, where he has scored 62 goals and provided 17 assists in just 69 appearances.

However, during an interview with the Rio Ferdinand Presents podcast, Ronaldo admitted that he is aware that his career is coming to an end and opened up about what he will miss when he retires from football.

“I’ll miss the adrenaline of scoring goals and the (feeling of) nerves,” Ronaldo said.

“I think I’ll miss it because the rest of me I can control. I have good people around me, I have a good business, I have good things.”

“But I will miss the fact that the adrenaline from football is not there (anymore). That’s why I went beyond football.”

“I gave everything to get to 40, 41, it doesn’t Promotion Ufabet matter. I’ve given my body to football for 25 years and I can’t give more because age doesn’t allow me to go any further.”

“This is why I take care of myself and keep working.”

“Because I know that in 2-3 years, I can still produce good things.”

“But after that, I don’t want to think about that anymore. I just want to think about the present and prepare other parts, such as my business area.”

“I’ll miss it and I might get a little lost.”
